hello everyone,... this is my first post so i thought i would talk about something everyone is talking about right now,..... the new playstation 3 slim. so if your considering upgrading or just buying a ps3, hopefully this will help. i have a 80gb ps3 fat model and personally like the sleek look of it, but there is alot of different openions out there,.. so i made this chart to help some people out and let you decide for your self.

ps3 slim....pros (:

comes standerd in 120gb or a 250gb

significantly smaller

over 30% lighter

faster read time on games

hundreds less than the ps3 fat

comes with new duel shock controller

ps3 fat.... pros (:

sleeker sophicticated piano black finish

faster blu ray disc read time

camera memory card reader

four usb slots

backwards compatible

ps3 slim..... cons ):

only two usb slots

no camera memory card reader

not backwards compatible

slower blu ray disc read time

ps3 fat.... cons ):

less hard drive memory for the same price as the slim

slower game load speeds

and thats about it really......

honestly, theres nothing at all wrong with the original ps3/ aka ps3 fat... its a all around great machine,.. but hey,.. if u really think u need an upgrade, or your just looking to buy a ps3, the ps3 slim is a great choice, it has a a huge hard drive for the same price as a 80gb fatty.... but like i said, theres a whole bunch of opinions out there.. some people like the new look, some people prefer the old look,... i personally like the old models sleek yet sophisticated look and feel,...
